Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani Peruvian Muay Thai fighter and mixed martial artist and currently competes within the UFC flyweight division. She is older than her fellow UFC Fighter and previous UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko began her fight sports career in the form of an Muay Thai Kickboxer and debuted in the IFMA World Championship Tournament 2003 Shevchenko did well in the competition and was defeated by Suzane Miller in the finals by a the unanimous vote.
